Are the medicated shampoos meant to be used every day?

We recommend using Zinc, SAL, and Tar Shampoos three times each week, or as recommended by your doctor. We suggest using either our Regular or Clear Shampoo during the "off” days.

Do you carry any products that would be appropriate for treating Folliculitis?

The symptoms of folliculitis, or inflammation at the base of the hair follicles, may be improved with use of our Tar Shampoo. we recommend talking with your doctor or dermatologist to determine the best course of treatment for your symptoms.

What does the scented version smell like?

Tar Gel Shampoo contains a mild lemon fragrance that helps mask the harsh Coal Tar scent.

What’s the difference between Tar Gel and Tar Shampoo?
